If you want to save on dental care, prescriptions and other healthcare services, choose Aetna Vital Savings Plus Rx program. If you need discounted rates on dental care only, pick the Aetna Vital Dental Savings program.
Choose Your Dentist
Your plan activates within 72 hours of purchase. You can select a dentist from the 241,000+ providers in the Aetna Vital Savings Network. Just make an appointment and get ready to save.
Save Money and Enjoy Your Healthy Smile!
Simply print your Aetna Vital Savings Card and bring it with you to the dentist’s office. Also remember that unlike traditional dental insurance, there is no paperwork to file, restrictions on existing conditions, waiting periods, or annual limits. You can use your membership as often as needed, to save as much as possible.
Dental Insurance Plan
Aetna dental insurance provides full coverage for your dental needs designed to keep your mouth healthy and smile brightly.
You’ll pay a premium each month and then have your checkups and cleanings (typically twice a year) covered at 100%.
Additional procedures are typically covered after a deductible and waiting period, if applicable, until your annual cap is reached. Any additional dental work after that would need to be paid for out of pocket.

How Do Dental Insurance Plans Work?
Join Aetna Dental Insurance Plan
With dental insurance, dental checkups, cleanings, and x-rays are covered at 100%. For other covered services, you pay the deductible and then you will pay the coinsurance for that service. You are responsible for any charges after you reach your annual maximum or limit for your benefits.
Choose Any Dentist
You have the freedom to see any dentist, but members may pay less if they see an in-network dentist.
Schedule Your Appointment
Once you receive your confirmation of enrollment email with links to register for your member websites (and CarePass Program if applicable), you can book your appointment on or after the effective date. Insurance plans are usually effective the first of the month, though the date can vary based on the time of enrollment. Billing occurs on the 21st of each month.
